Odisha to spend Rs 76 crore to develop coastal tourism circuit.

Odisha will spend Rs.76cr to develop coastal tourism circuit in the development of coastal tourism circuit. Ashok panda the tourism minister of Odisha said that the govt will invest RS. 76.50cr under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme of a center to develop the coastal tourism circuit.

Gopalpur, Satapada, Barkul will be the place among the coastal tourism project. The main priority of the project is infrastructure development of the beach, for that center has given 15.30cr for the first installment of the project.

Odisha to spend 76crore in costal development.

The main reason behind this project is the boost of tourist inflow in Odisha in recent years increasing gradually.In 2016, the state hosted 76,361 foreign tourists in Odisha, most of them from Sri Lanka, Japan, some European and South Asian nations. So the betterment of the tourist places is necessary.

The tourism minister also said RS.20cr has provided by the central government for the development of tourist spot in last 2 year. The work for this project begins soon panda added.
