Budhakhol the heritage beauty of Odisha

Budhakhol the heritage beauty of Odisha is situated in the Buguda block of Ganjam Dist. It is the symbol of Buddhist culture. The place is filled with full of Trees, Caves, temples and perennial Waterfall, which is the main attraction for tourists .

The presence of a bunch of five temples on the top of the hill is another attraction of this place. The five temples are Sri Sri Makareswar Swami, Sri Sri Gangadhareswar Swami, Sri Sri Jagadieswar Swami, Sri Sri Siddheswar Swami, Sri Sri Budheswar Swami, which is popularly knows as Panchu mahadeva Temple.



On Shivratri and Kartika Purnima, a large number of pilgrims come here to offer Puja to Lord Shiva. The Statue of Lord Shiva and Pravati both situated in the foot of the hill at Budhakhol (Ganjam,Odisha).

 Lots of Visitors come to enjoy the natural beauty of this spot,the temple here is surrounded by green hills.The silent hills and songs of the birds make it more beautiful. You can feel the peace from your heart after reaching to the BUDHAKHOL Temple.



One of the main attractions of Budhakhol is perennial Waterfall, called Panjuria. It is located on the top of the hill. The local people here told that the waterfall is having some medicinal value. The waterfall is surrounded with many trees,caves and temples. Sri Sri Siddheswar Swami and Sri Sri Budheswar Swami Temple reside close to the Waterfall.




There are 421 steps leading up to the Budhakhol Panchu mahadeva temple. The stairs are also well made,on the way we can enjoy the natural beauty, green hills,Perennial Waterfall which are surrounded to the temple.
